Rowan Live

Rowan Live is a new theatre show in which Rowan Atkinson returns to the stage with some of his best-known comedy sketches and characters. It revisits the sketches he first created with Richard Curtis, in which his most familiar characters originated, and draws on Mr Bean, Blackadder and Not the Nine O'Clock News. New material written for the show with Curtis, Ben Elton and Howard Goodall completes the programme. It is Atkinson's first comedy sketch show in the West End for forty years.

Rowan Atkinson came to national prominence with Not the Nine O'Clock News before co-creating and starring in Blackadder and Mr Bean; his other characters include Johnny English. The show is directed by Raz Shaw, with music by Howard Goodall, and is presented by Playful Productions in association with PBJ Management. It is a chance to see Atkinson perform his characters live, in a limited season at the Gillian Lynne Theatre.
