About The Gillian Lynne Theatre
The Gillian Lynne theatre (formerly New London Theatre) is a wholly contemporary building. But the site has been home to a series of entertainment venues for a long time, dating right back to Elizabethan times. Nell Gwynne, the infamous mistress of King Charles the Second, was reputed to frequent the tavern on the site, which was once marvellously called the 'Great Mogul', where, in the early 1700s, trendy 'Glee Clubs' and sing-songs were held in the hall next door.

Inventive, storytelling The story of Lehman brothers and Lehman bank was excellently executed by the three actors who managed to keep you engaged despite it being a three hour story.
I found the first episode the most interesting and was a little disappointed by the third and final episode. I was hoping to hear a better explanation to why and how Lehman finally collapsed as the previous episodes might have laid the ground for that. It felt as if it was rushed and find a dramatic end. I might have missed it but I think there must be a combination of things that changed from the Lehman brothers building up a sound business to one that only focused on profits which then led to the mortgages being repackaged and sold at profits that were in sustainable. I hoped to have heard seen this better put forward like part 1 in part 3.

MARVELLOUS ACTING, GREAT MISE EN SCENE, BUT NOT DRAMATIC PLAY A very interesting play to watch, great acting and mise en scene; however it is most a documentary than a dramatic play, hardly any emotion is involved.
